How did you first hear about roller derby?
My good friend Mechanical Romance invited me along to the information night and I was interested in finding a new challenge.

What is something that you know about roller derby now that you wish you knew when you first started?
How to skate I was out of my depth but the challenge of learning is the best part nailing those techniques is so satisfying and rewarding.

What is a roller derby goal you are working towards right now?
Right now my first goal is still to be a referee but I've now got so onto the game I've started learning with the men's to play aswell.

What do you do to keep your derby brain switched on?
I would have to say what goes through my head most would be getting lower and soft knees.

Who in WARD is inspiring you at the moment?
I'd really have to say the rookie level 3s watching them grow is amazing and some of them started a short time before myself I can't pick just one.

What keeps you enthused about roller derby?
There's always something new to learn and the great community around the sport everyone is so amazing and kind always helping each other out, it's something I love about this sport most
